Becoming a quality mattress is a privilege awarded to few mattresses. The mattresses, in order to receive the Consortium quality seal, must pass a severe exams series.
Tests are performed by an independent external test laboratory (Catas), that analyses each mattress (to evaluate the quality of the materials embedded) and its performances, when new and after years of use.
To simulate fatigue and wear, a 200 Kg seam is rolled on the mattress continuously for 3 days and 3 nights, until a total of 45,000 times.
Mattresses that pass this testing series obtain the quality certification.
